In a wonderful parkland setting, Blackwell Grange Golf Club offers 18 holes of challenging golf to individuals, small parties or larger groups. In addition to the many established trees throughout the course, in the last ten years a further 7,000 specimens have been planted - bringing added beauty to an already remarkable setting.
The 1st is a straight 400 yards tree-lined hole with a significant specimen on the right at 309 yards. With trees also the left, a straight shot will ensure a good opening. At the next, often described as the signature hole, the first shot is over water. For those who like a real challenge, the pleasure can be re-visited on the approach to the green where another pond lies in wait!
The 10th (pictured above) is a short par 4 with trees both right and left. The second shot is between two very tall mature trees and over two bunkers to a green, which slopes from front to back.
