Congratulations to
Ellie Givens who finished in 41st
place out of the top 50 final qualifiers at La Manga.
The original field of
204 , including top amateurs and many professionals was reduced to 50 after 4
rounds. After a further 5 rounds, the top 30 earned their tour cards for the
full tour. The remainder are eligible for starts in some of the lesser European
events.
Ellie was only three
shots short of a top 30 place, which would have earned her a full card.
This is a terrific
achievement, especially in view of the stringent qualification rules.
We wish Ellie all the
best for the forthcoming season.
