
Blackwell Grange Golf Clubs juniors proudly flew the flag for both club and county at the England Golf County Club Championship
Held over two days at Spalding Golf Club, one of Lincolnshire’s finest parkland courses, this event brings together the best junior teams from across England, with each County Union nominating one club to compete. Teams are made up of three players, with the best two net Stableford scores from each round counting towards the team total over 36 holes.
Representing Blackwell Grange and Durham were:

Day One – A Solid Start
The team got off to a steady start, finishing T15 on 71 points, just 12 behind the leaders on 83.
With two scores from three to count, the Day 1 results were:

It was a great effort on a hot day and set the squad up nicely for the final round.
Day Two – Battling to the Finish
On Sunday, the juniors fought hard against another strong field, carding 70 points to bring their total to 141 points and securing 17th place overall.

Worthy Winners & Final Thanks
Congratulations to Easthampstead Golf Club, who took the title with an impressive total of 163 points, including a superb 85-point opening round.
