Blackwell Grange have finished runners up in the 1st Division in the last two years.

The format is pairs better ball match play played off the white tees, each match consists of 6 games. Handicaps are 90% of the difference from the lowest Handicap in each 4 ball. All 18 holes are to be played as there are bonus points for the team that wins the most holes. The matches are scored - 2 points for a win, 1 point for a half. The Bonus points are 2 for an away win, 1 for a home win.

You must be aged 55 or over to be eligible to play, although you do not need to be a member of the Seniors’ Section. The maximum handicap allowance is 24. The standard of golf is high, so being able to play to your handicap regularly and having a strong will to win would be good!
